Chinese Visa Guidelines for International Participants
Important Notice: Please note that MERE Conference is not authorized to assist with the VISA process. The invitation letter from the organizing committees will be sent upon request only when you register successfully, which may help but cannot guarantee you a visa.
Invitation Letter
To request an invitation letter, please email: mere_conf@chairmen.org
Your name must be listed exactly as it appears on your passport. Any differences between the name on your passport and the name on your invitation letter or other documentation could lead to a delay and/or denial of your visa.
Timing
It takes time for the Embassy to process the VISA application. Please register as early as you can to make sure you have enough time. Visa processing typically takes 4-6 weeks.
Visa Application Steps
- Register for the conference and complete payment
- Request invitation letter from conference secretariat
- Prepare required documents (passport, photo, invitation letter, flight/hotel bookings)
- Submit application to Chinese Embassy/Consulate in your country
- Receive visa and travel to China
Required Documents
- Valid passport (at least 6 months validity)
- Visa application form
- Recent passport photo
- Invitation letter from MERE 2027
- Flight itinerary and hotel booking
- Proof of financial means
